As the game progresses, your hero gains experience, collects items and gains abilities, making him all the more powerful as each scenario unfolds. The human side sees you lead a hero character called Curian as he gathers allies to fight the forces of evil led by Rick Blood. Kingdom Under Fire does have a story, in fact one each for the human and devil sides in the game's two campaigns. That's not to say it's a bad game, but each of the elements - RTS and Action/RPG - are only shadows of the best of breed in their genre. The problem with such claims made for the "Throne of the Ultimate Game" by being a jack-of-all-trades, is that it inevitably leads to a product that dilutes certain aspects because of adding others that wouldn't normally be present. You take his place and make him look bad. Your Union Cross friends are preparing for a mission, but the Moogle-headed friend is late. When the Kingdom Hearts Χ remake was finished( Unchained Χ)(Excluding the finale), the game was re-branded into Kingdom Hearts Union Χ(Cross) and the story was continued. ![]() Plays out differently depending on your Union The events of Union X take place immediately after this section and do not overlap. The events in this section take place immediately after both the events in Unchained X, and X Back Cover, so I recommend watching it at this point. It was originally the finale of the original Kingdom Hearts X, but was removed from the remake to tell the story from a different perspective. This section was released as a separate event and is not in the main campaign. However, X Back Cover references some reveals from X Final Chapter, so if you prefer staying closer to release order to get the original experience, you may want to finish X Final Chapter before watching this. Note: Pacing wise, this is, in my opinion, more satisfying to play here. While this does not mark when the title was released, I recommend watching this between Unchained X and X Final Chapter. You can watch this as one of the included titles in Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. This is the one section that is not in the phone application. That won't be an option anymore, so I took the opportunity left to write down the original order of the cutscenes with some light context notes for future playthroughs of this story.
